I sold an item that was originally meant to ship via USPS First Class. With the new shipping methods, it should default to USPS Ground Advantage, and that is what Buyer Selected, but eBay shipping is defaulting it to UPS Ground, which is more expensive, and I can't override it. Any suggestions and thank you

Hi @la-t
If all of the USPS shipping choices are grayed out then it might be a problem with the address that the Buyer put on their account. I just went through that a few days ago, the only choice was FedEx ... I noticed the street address was wonky, no spaces between street number, street name, etc. I added spaces via the Edit link right below the address and bingo, all the USPS choices became active. Example below:
1234ButterSt
Add spaces and change to:
1234 Butter St

Hi mr_lincoln, this was a good idea! The address was entered correctly, and I still edited it just to see if that would fix it, but unfortunately didn't work. Thank you for the suggestion. I called eBay and the customer service rep diagnosed the same as you, that maybe the shipping address was entered incorrectly, and tried the same fix, but it did not work. He said there is nothing he could do to correct it...
