Shipping date and delivery dates why so far off?

I have question for the community of sellers, I buy a product based on when it’s going to arrive.

lets say I bought an item on March 6 with delivery expected by March 11-March 25.

I ask the seller have you shipped the product on March 15 he sends me a photo showing eBay does not require him to ship till March 24. He can if he wants to but doesn’t have too.

Let’s say if the seller ships on March 24 it’s not going to arrive by the delivery estimates.

why the deliver estimates and shipping deadlines are so out of whack? Is that normal from a seller perspective. 

I mean if the listing states a deliver estimate between March 11 and March 25, why does eBay give the seller to ship the product till March 24th.

Something is getting lost in the translation here.  "I bought an item on March 6 with delivery expected Estimated by March 11-March 25"  IDK why a seller would respond to you that way since if they do that it actually hurts the health of their selling account.

Would you please share with the the item number you purchased so I can look at it more closely.  

I'm happy to help, I just need more details.
