Hello! Im a new ebay seller. Im not sure where things went wrong, as ive never had this issue before. I sold a lamp. I accepted an offer, and total cost to buyer is $36. Im trying to get it ready for shipping and the shipping cost is $160. Yikes!!  What do i do?  Thanks for any help.

Re: Shipping cost

@walk.a.mile.in.my.shoes-1   What package dimensions and weight did you use on the listing for the lamp?    I can tell just by looking at the calculated shipping cost on the listing that you made a mistake as the shipping cost is too low for that large of a lamp.

You can see what you entered on the listing by going to the sold item and selecting Sell Similar from the drop down menu next to the item on this page> https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:ALL_ORDERS

Shipping is charged based on package dimensions, weight, distance to buyer, and shipping method.

You might check Piratship.com and see how much UPS charges.  It's better to buy UPS labels through Pirateship than eBay in case there's a problem with the shipment.
