My customer purchased an expensive camera tripod and I wish to require a signature. He concurs this is a good idea due to the value. However, he likely won't be home when it would arrive and doesn't live with anyone else who would be there. He has suggested I might have it delivered to a UPS store (I want to ship the item UPS due to its length), but this is not the address he gave me with the order. I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but is there any way for him to alter his address after the fact? I'm assuming if I ship to the UPS store location for him to pickup and sign for, I will be abandoning all eBay seller protections. However, if I ship without a signature, I'm leaving the package open to any porch pirate that comes along. Other than cancelling the order and having him reorder with a different address, do we have any other options? Thanks for your help.
