I'm wondering why the shipping label automatically put a $7.96 charge to me and must've had a weight already figured into it even though I didn't get to put package dimensions in or even the weight yet. My listing had sold and they paid right away and then it gave me the option to print the label right away thru paypal or my funds. I went to click paypal and it automatically already had the $7.96 calculated and printed a 1oz amount on my label even though the package is NOT going to weigh only 1oz.
Years ago on here I used to be able to type in the dimensions and used my scale to weigh the item and then I would input that info into the ebay printing slip area and it would calculate it and then I could print the label. I'm not sure what I am missing here. I haven't been selling for awhile on here so I feel out of the loop????

When you create your listing, you need to select a shipping method, and input the weight of the packaged item along with the dimensions of the package. If you didn't do that, perhaps it defaulted to 1 oz. You still have the opportunity to make any changes to the weight and dimensions BEFIRE you actually print the label.
Go to Seller Hub > Orders > Shipping labels
Locate the label. Click the down-arrow, select VOID. The USPS will credit your account in 2-3 weeks after they have confirmed the label was never used. You can now use the same link to Print Another Label, and this time make the appropriate corrections for the package.
