This seller uses multiple IDs to sell the same item .
As these are natural mineral specimens, no one item can duplicate another. It is not possible.
This looks like a good trick for sellers. A seller can increase visibility by a factor of 10x if they have the software to manage all the duplicate listings, but how does one avoid all the duplicate listing fees?? If one cancels the duplicate listings prior to close except for the one sale, will EBay refund the listing fees?
It looks to me as though EBay only restricts the number of listings per unique seller ID, not the number of seller IDs. So as long as one does not duplicate a separate auction and a separate Buy-it-Now listing under the same ID, it's not a violation of EBay policies.
Other than visibility through duplication, I am not sure what the other pros and cons might be. I don't know how, but maybe this strategy can also help with potential disputes and selling into sketchy countries where one might want to separate out a particular country.

I think if the seller is using the same photos s/he is opening up to Item Not as Described cases.
