I have recently started selling on eBay (mid March) but have had my account since 2008. I sell sports cards with a majority being low end. I was selling on another platform but wanted to move my business here. Is it always a 30 day wait to request a limit increase or is there a way to contact eBay and be able to explain the situation? I did get an increase from 700 to 1300 on April 11th but when dealing with low end it's all about volume. Unfortunately I have already committed to a premium account that I don't even scratch the surface with thinking I'd have a much higher increase.

If they already increased your limit this month, they probably won't increase it again, but you can ask. Use the contact us at the bottom of this page to request a call from customer service -
You might think about downgrading your store to basic - with a basic store you can list up to 11,000 cards subject to your listing limit - 1,000 plus 10,000 in selected categories, which include sports cards.

I appreciate the feedback. I have considered the downgrade but not sure what the penalty is to go to basic on a yearly subscription. I have them reach out to me and discuss it with them. Have a great day!

There is an early termination fee if you signed up an annual subscription. There is a chart here that shows the costs -

I talked to customer service a little earlier today. Just waiting to hear back if they will increase it or not. I did see the chart and it may not be worth the downgrade but I'll assess it all once I hear back. Thanks
