Selling diabetic test strips as "new"

Roche, the maker of the diabetic test strips I'm selling, contacted me.  They want me to list them as something other than "new" because they won't guarantee them, even though they are in unopened boxes.

I tried to revise my listing, but wasn't allowed to change that in the revision process. What should I do? People have bid on these items I'm selling.

You can not change the condition once there are bids.

You can add to the description that these strips are no longer covered by the manufacturer’s guarantee since you are not an authorized retailer.  I would think that would satisfy the request.
