Selling description contains coding after I upload photos using the ebay app

HI,

I create my selling descriptions using my laptop. I then go and take photos using my iphone and upload the photos via the ebay app.

My selling descriptions are ruined and not useable since they contain coding information. Why?

Are you manually typing the description or are you using the copy/paste function?  If using copy/paste, make sure the text comes from a program such as Notepad and not Word (or some other word processor).  Word processors embed HTML into the document, whereas a program such as Notepad does not include any HTML.
