I recently ordered an Echo Show 8 Item listing 04-12828-44431
What I received was an older Echo Show Gen 2. I purchased the Echo Show 8 to get in on the release of Alexa + and that is when I found out I did not get what I purchased in the listing.
I contacted the seller 5 days ago and have received no correspondence. Furthermore, I put in a report (Opened a case) of not receiving the purchased item. I got a response from what I presume was an AI bot that didn't read the particulars I explained, and telling me that the seller provided the FedEx tracking which show my item was delivered.
How do I get a hold of a live body at Amazon who has the ability to hear what is happening and be able to help, because their AI Bot is definitely not helping in any way? I can't find any way to contact a live person that is smarter than the BOT and will be able to understand written text or spoken word?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

On eBay, if you receive an item that does not match the description, file a "not as described" return and return the item at the seller's expense. The process is automated. If you filed an "item not received" case, the seller wins by providing tracking that shows something was delivered. If you have done that, you can still file a "not as described" return if you are within thirty days of receiving the item.
If the seller does not cooperate at any point, after three business days from starting your "not as described" case you should be able to ask eBay to step in and refund you.
