I won an auction on 8/15 for two squishmallows (my daughter collects them). Today the seller messaged me stating that they were not available as her daughter took them to college (unknown to the seller); they offered a refund or an option to select others that they are selling.
I looked at their other listings, and the same two squishmallows were available in a bundle with three others, so I asked her to send me those two as they were the same items. She responded that she meant to cancel that listing as they were the same ones I bought. My response was to have her daughter send the items to me (no reply yet).
Here is where it gets strange - I won the pair at auction for $50, but her other listing was a BIN for $250 - seems like things are a bit shady...
Has anyone run across this sort of thing before?
