Seller not messaging back

I messaged a seller so that I could buy an item but they didn’t reply. A few days later, still with no response, I bought the item. They haven’t shipped it and it’s been two days so I reached out and they haven’t replied. Is there any way to cancel it without waiting seven days?

The only way to have the order cancelled is to ask the seller to cancel it, but as he isn't replying to messages, that would be a futile exercise.

When it's past the estimated delivery date shown in your Purchase History, you have up to 30 days to use the option next to the transaction to open a case for an item not received. The seller will have 3 business days to prove delivery or refund. If he doesn't, go back to the case on day 4 and use the option to ask eBay to step in. They will force the refund.
