Seller is using a false image to sell an inferior product

I bought a hat from a seller and received an inferior product that vaguely resembles the picture. I searched on this hat and found that the picture being used is from an artist who makes these hats by hand. What the seller is peddling are masses produced Halloween costume quality poor imitations. How can I get this stopped?

Leave appropriate feedback to warn others.

Use the REPORT button on the listing to alert ebay.

Contact the original rights owner so they can have ebay remove these.

Open a Return Request for an ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED. Seller will pay for the return, if he wants it back, and/or refund. If no response by the fourth day, go back and ask ebay to step in. Do not close or let the case expire without doing this, if not resolved.

I have notified the artist whose images the seller has violated. I have requested a refund. I will report the sellers now. There is more than one.

So eBay just answered that they cannot find anything wrong with the listing!  How is that possible?  What the seller is doing is illegal. Doesn’t eBay have responsibility to correct misrepresentation?
