Seller has blocked me without giving any reason.

I used up 5 bids for an item and none of them were taken.  When I tried to buy the item at the full price listed, I got a red message telling me the seller has blocked me. I have no idea why. I didn't do anything outside of eBay policy. I tried to message the seller to understand why I was suddenly blocked. No reason was given and I am confused.

• Is there a specific way to find out why a seller has blocked a buyer?
• I called eBay Help and they did not have any more information about this. 
• When a buyer is blocked, does this mean they are blocked forever or is there a time when they unblock you?
• I would like to hear from the seller to understand why I was blocked. No negative messages came from me at all. I think that a long time ago (several years) I may have purchased an item from this seller without any issues.
• Can anyone shed some light on any or all of my questions?

A seller can block a buyer at will - no reason is required or entered. The block remains in place until the seller removes you from their blocked list.

You can try using the contact seller link on any of his active items.  A seller can block contact from blocked buyers, but not all do.

The seller does NOT have to give a reason for blocking another eBayer.

Are you talking about offers?  Do you mean you made five offers and none of them was accepted?  Did the seller

•  Send a counter offer 

•  Simply refuse, said no 

•  Ignore the offers
