Yesterday I won a bid and upon being notified that I won I paid for the item via pay pal. This morning when I read my emails I got a message stating that I had a refund for the item purchased and the seller stated that the buyer, me, cancelled the order which is NOT TRUE. I did see that this same item has been listed by other sellers for much more than I paid for it and believe that the seller wasn't happy with the winning bid. This item was purchased as a gift and I want it. What recourse do I have

ebay cannot force a buyer to pay, nor can ebay force qa seller to ship. The best that is going to happen is a full refund. However, you can
Report the seller:

Choose the option Seller doesn’t want to complete the sale.

Thank you. This was my first time posting and it was nice to know that someone cared enough to reply.
I thought that would be the case. It really burns my britches that sellers are allowed to do whatever they want. If they list any item for bid then they should accept what they get and complete the transaction especially when it was paid for the moment the bid was won. Ebay needs to step up to the plate and remove a seller that does not complete a transaction such as the one I just experienced. Thanks again your reply was truly appreciated
