Seller Performance Level

How often does Ebay update seller performance level? I dropped to below standard last October for cancelling orders ( 8 total). I have cancelled none since then. I also had 2 items ship late last year. None since then. I am constantly getting ebay emails saying i am at risk of losing my account. I have 100% positive feedback and have not shipped late or cancelled anything since October of last year and still I am below standard and getting the threatening emails. Any help would be appreciated.

Seller Performance Level

@maysd-69,

The link below should explain what you need to do to improve your seller rating.

It can take quite awhile for the defects to cease applying to your account, but you should have been reviewed every 2 months.  If you have not received any defects since October by now your seller rating should have been upgraded.

Seller Performance Level

You are evaluated every month looking back for 12 months (3 months if more than 400 sales in 3 months).   So your defects for October 2022 will count through September 2023 and you would have to have enough defect-free sales since then to drive the percentage of defects down to below the 2% threshold (it would have to be more than you had in the 12 months before the month you got all the defects since those weren't enough to keep you below the threshold).  See     https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/selling-policies/seller-standards-policy?id=4347#section2

Seller Performance Level

Hi @maysd-69

I suspect the defects will take 12 months to roll off your account.  Your best bet is to list stuff at a price that will sell quickly to keep the sales activity going.  I don't completely agree with how eBay handles the Below Standard level for Sellers, it's like no second chance ... I guess the concepts of grace and forgiveness are foreign to them.

In any event, keep plugging away.
