I am a seller. When I search using "Price + Shipping: lowest first," my item does not appear in the results. When I search using any other option (e.g., "Time: newly listed"), my item shows up.
This concern relates to only 4 of my items. The style of listing (use of abbreviations, order of words, etc.) is nearly identical in all of my listings.
Any suggestions?

Can you give the item # of one with the odd results so we can try it?

Thanks for your response. Here are the relevant item numbers (all 4):

I had mixed results. I thought maybe the searches were changing the category, but they did not. I'm going to ask an expert for another opinion.
owney the postal dog - your item showed correctly in all searches for me
2011 Kwanza and 2016 Indiana - sometimes they don't show in lowest price, but sometimes show as matching fewer key words, depending on how I limit my search
2016 Escalante shows correctly when I narrow search by price range but not in a general lowest price search
Do you know what would cause such mixed results? Thanks!

Thanks for your detailed work on this problem. I look forward to the response of the other expert.
I should note that I always limit my searches to Stamps>United States>Plate Blocks/Multiples. Then, I enter a catalog number. Just checked, and my results haven't changed.
I should note that I also don't see any of these items in Results Matching Fewer Words (RMFW). Strangely, two of these items DID appear in RMFW the day before I sent my original post.
I hope you can resolve this issue!

Yes, there is something wrong. I have seen this before where similar items only disappear when the filter is set to lowest cost first, otherwise they all appear normally for all other filter settings. This happens even if you click on View All, and even if the item specifics like UPC, MPN, etc., are exactly the same and even used to search for the items. It also seems to somehow interact with results using "fewer words", even if there is only a single unique word used for the search.
