Freight Forwarders are not necessarily a scam.  I ship to them frequently here in the USA.  I've never had a problem.  Per the rules, we are responsible for the item to the address on the payment.  So if that address is a Freight Forwarder, then that is the address in which your responsible to ship to.  When they repackage and ship it off to the buyer, that is not on you as a seller per the MBG.

However when you are shipping an expensive item I would be concerned too.

So the Google search actually told you it was a "scam" Freight Forwarder?  Or are you assuming because they are a Freight Forwarder that they must be bad?

I actually googled the address which I gave you guys above and it literally comes back as this is a scam address I’ve sent various items here the buyer says he’s never received them and like I say I’m sending an item worth several thousand pounds so I’m very worried about this I’ve now cancelled the transaction going to relist the item is there a way I can stop international buyers ?

Your tracking should have shown it to be delivered and if the MBG is the same in the UK as it is in the USA, the seller would have been protected because of it.

Yes, when you set up your listings, in the set up of the listing, just state which countries you will ship to or just the UK if you prefer.  You do not have to ship worldwide if you don't want to.  Or at least you don't on the US site.

Also in your site preferences, check your buyer requirements.  You can block international buyers with a ship to address that is outside of your country as many buyers do have ship to addresses that are OK and within your country or mine.  But again, IDK if the UK rules are different than they are in the US, so just go to your site preferences and take a peek.
