Scammed help

I got duped! My facebook account was hacked and the hackers blackmailed me saying they would expose private information and pictures if I didn't pay them. So I did , they always asked to ebay gift cards. I have given them $1,650 dollars in cards and they still are asking for more. I'm to the point now where I'm done I'm not giving them anymore money, I dont care what they post or expose. I'm done! My question is can I recover any money from these gift cards I sent to them? I've got all the cards and receipts. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

@deel_1827   I'm sorry but eBay gift cards, like all gift cards,  are non refundable and not traceable which is why scammers like them.

Sorry that this happened to you.     You should report this to the FTC  and https://www.ic3.gov/

And report it to FB.

Just to echo the previous answer, no you cannot.

I sincerely hope you reported this to Facebook.  They need to know and they are the ones that are best equipped to track these thieves down.  

Your money is gone, but maybe you can get some satisfaction out of FB finding them.
