I have several saved searches. However, I've noticed I only get notified by email when there is a new listing on perhaps one of my saved searches.
When I look under the "Saved" tab on the front page of eBay, I get a lot of stuff that is unrelated to my saved searches. Frankly, it's junk. A lot doesn't even relate to items I've looked or, nor am I interested in. This has been going on for at least a year (since I can remember looking at this tab.) I'm constantly removing items in this tab because they are so irrelevant.
I recently noticed that manually clicking on one particular saved search (clicking from the drop-down list from the search bar) reveals that there is a new listing for that item. However, it doesn't appear in the "saved" tab I just described, I never got an email notice, and instead I have a bunch of junk cluttering this.
Any suggestions about why this is? eBay makes it extremely difficult to ask them directly, so I guess all I can do is post this to everyone else.

The Saved link leads to your Feed page here:
The listings on the Feed page are comprised of results from your Saved Searches and the items listed by your Saved Sellers. You can control which searches and sellers contribute by clicking on the number of each type of list shown at the top of the page, and then using the sunglasses icon to reveal toggle switches that control whether each entry contributes to the page.
To change your email settings open your Saved Searches page here:

For each entry, you should be able to stop or enable email updates under the "More actions" menu on the right side.
