Sales Tax form 5081 in Michigan

Has any one filed a form 5081 in Michigan?  Why doesn't our 1099K form include a breakdown of how much sales tax eBay paid on our behalf to each state? or why is this number impossible to retrieve?

For the time you have been on Managed Payments you can sort the ebay report by State and/or Zip Code and subtotal for each.

For the time before that when you would have been on PayPal, your PayPal History can be exported and sorted and subtotal the same way.

Note, that in the MP report the sales tax is not part of your gross for 1099 reporting.  However, on your PayPal report the sales tax is included in the gross, and even though it is backed out, must be deducted separately.

The new ebay reports do include the sales tax data you need.  Export to a spread sheet and sort and subtotal as needed.

Sales Tax form 5081 in Michigan

Unfortunately those reports do not go far back enough i need tax and sales data for 2020 for each state that i sold something in.  I am able to see the total tax paid on my behalf but my state doesn't care about the whole number they only care about Michigan to Michigan sales & tax  and the amount of interstate sales.   But thank you for your reply!  I have spent considerable time trying to find this info with the help of eBay service reps... i am on hold right now!
