Sale was canceled for Non payment which I did not ask to be done

I agreed with a buyer who was bidding on other items she could wait and make one payment at the end of all auctions.  Received an e-mail today saying her first sale had been canceled for non payment. It said I canceled the sale....I did not.  How do I reinstate the sale?

Hi @mstrott2092 

First of all eBay will automatically Cancel upaid items after 4 days (96 hours) ... you can turn that automated setting off here in your Account settings > Selling Preferences Preferences for items awaiting payment (ebay.com)

Once you turn it off it you will be able to cancel unpaid items manually.

You cannot reverse the cancelled item, you can message the Buyer letting them know of the automated setting and Relist the item for them to purchase again ... you can copy the new eBay item number off the Relisted item and send it to them for their convenience ... they can paste that number into the search window and go right to the item.
