I SOLD AN ITEM AND MAILED IT TODAY. THE POST OFFICE CHARGED ME $10.65 TO SHIP IT, BUT EBAY TOLD THE BUYER SHIPPING WAS $6.15. SO EBAY SHORTED ME $4.50. I DID NOT NOTICE THE PRICE DIFFERNCE UNTIL IT WAS TOO LATE. HOW CAN I KEEP THIS FROM HAPPENING AGAIN?

@110pic You need to purchase your shipping labels on eBay to get the discounted rate.
If you don't have a printer you can select the QR code option and the post office will print the label for you.
OR change your shipping discount settings to charge the buyer retail rate https://www.ebay.com/ship/prf
However, doing this might hurt your sales though as shipping costs are high even with eBay's discounted rates.
The shipping that the buyer is charged is based on the package weight and dimensions, that you enter on the listing. Never use eBay's suggested rate when creating a listing, enter your own information.

Yes that will charge the buyers retail rate. If you wish you can charge the buyers retail rate for shipping and still use eBay discounted shipping labels. Some sellers do this to help cover the selling fees.
