SCAM?

I received an email through the ebay site with a link to verify my account or my account will be restricted: https:\\myebay.cyou:/tracking/lqtnoCcvYvdYuKN6. It looked official so I followed the directions. I was supposed to get a text msg with a code, It did not happen. Now I think it may be a scam. I am on the phone to my bank and I am trying to contact ebay.

SCAM?

Yes it is a scam.  Unfortunately since the scam originates outside of eBay there is little that eBay can do.  If you gave any banking information your bank will take care of changing your accounts to protect them.
