Recently, I had a buyer purchase multiple items in his order, but the shipping that he was charged was way under what he should have been charged. When I went to print out the labels, the dimensions were correct for the box, but the weight was cumulative (35 lbs x 5 = 175). So, I adjusted the weight, printed the label...and then printed 4 more labels, adjusting the weight for each one. Not only did the labels show "1 of 1" for the order, but, as mentioned, I lost money on the shipping (so much for a discount). It was as if the buyer was paying shipping on one box that weighed 175 lbs. Obviously, I did something wrong. Is there a shipping rule that I missed?
