Why was my legitimate negative review removed? I thought reviews were in place to keep buyers safe.

Hi @tacar_9891

We will need a little more information in order to possibly explain why the FB was removed.

-Can you share what the FB stated?

-Did you return an item to the Seller and was it listed with Free 30 day Returns?

-Did you have any correspondence with the Seller prior to leaving the FB?

-Is the Seller from the USA?  If not, what country are they from?

The seller is from the U.S. This seller had two different offerings for hatching eggs, I purchased both at the same time.  I had problems with the one order I received and never received my second order. Seller stopped communicating with me and eBay had to intervene and get my refund 30 days later.  My review was about my experience with this seller. How the eggs I received were old, as indicated by the large air cells. How they were shipped in a box that didn't state that they were hatching eggs or even that the package was fragile which then caused the large air cells to detach from the shell and that nothing ever developed from the eggs.

@tacar_9891  Thank you ... that is a mystery as to why the FB was removed. Nothing you did jumps out as cause to removal, other than perhaps what specifically was said.  But in those instances, eBay might remove the verbiage but let the FB type (Positive-Neutral-Negative) stand.

If you mentioned eBay having to intervene the seller can have it removed.

If the seller offers free returns is another reason eBay may remove the feedback.

We are told not to write fragile on packages because machinery can't read and some employees think it's cute to slam packages around because who is the seller wanting special treatment? HA They need to pack like it's fragile!
