Returns of wrong item

What if the buyer returns a completely different item than what was shipped to them? So now I have to refund them their money and they have my item still and sent me a cat toy, so I'm out 200+$ and they ha e my item so I cannot resell it

Did they open an Item Not as Described refund request that you need to reply to? In either case, before you proceed, first Report the Buyer for sending back the wrong item. Next, go to Help and Contact and request a callback from an eBay agent. Be sure to select the correct reason for wanting a call back.

Yes, the buyer sent me a return request saying the item was not as described,  BUT I am 100% sure they damaged it after receiving it, bc the shipping box is in tacked just fine and there is no way it was damaged in the box the way I wrapped it bc it simply wouldn't fit if it was bent in the box. So to avoid a bad review I accepted the return even tho I have it listed as is no returns,  and they sent me a cat toy not the item

Please report the Buyer and request a call back from eBay before you respond to the refund request.

I will, thank you for your help! I've sold over 300 items and I have never had any problems until now. I've had like 3 returns but they were honest unlike this buyer, I can't believe this happened. Again, thank you for helping me!!! I've hit a wall with ebay help center trying to figure out what to do.
