I think asking a customer for pictures before you will process a return is childish and foolish.
With the number of images that can be manipulated from the internet, it seems the ONLY reason a seller would ask for pictures is to create havoc so the customer will give up. I have had sellers ask me for videos of items! Other selling sites don't do this and will get more of my business from now on.
If an item is defective or the customer simply doesn't like it, make it right!!

I'll never send pictures, not again. I bought some shoes that were advertised as white, and looked white in the listing. When they arrived though, they were gold. I opened a Not As Described return and the seller asked for pictures, and like an idiot I provided them, three of them. The color was exactly right when I viewed them on my computer, but when I uploaded them, on eBay they looked white. I knew I had shot myself in the foot, so I went ahead and paid the shipping myself.
