Returning an item

I have an item that iamb returning but it was returned back to me because of a postage mistake. I paid the postage at the post office and sent the item and I have no way of updating The tracking number. What do I do it’s on its way back to the original seller and there’s really no proof on eBay because it only states that the package was returned to me. Now that the package is sent out I have no way of getting my refund if the seller chooses not to acknowledge the package received I need help somebody please

You need to ask customer service to update the tracing # for you.
