I bought an item that was not as described. I started a return and eBay sided with me. They gave me a shipping label and packing slip. I sent it back via USPS. It was out for delivery on 2/10/24. I received the refund that same day. Out of the blue, today, 2/16/24, I got the box back in my mail box with a label that said Return To Sender Unable to Forward. The tracking information said "Moved Left No Address".
The seller was hostile when I told her that the item she listed as "new" was NOT new and didn't work. She told eBay that I was lying and she sent a "brand new item". Her last response to me was that it wasn't the item she sent. So I asked if she thought USPS opened her box, that had the same tracking number as the one shown on eBay, and replaced it with a broken item. She didn't respond after that.
I'm not sure if I'm supposed to do something or not. I can't send it back and I don't know who to ask at eBay what I should do.
