Returned item that was not as described

I purchased a pair of sneakers that were supposed to be size 13 but were more like a size 10. Seller sent email with return label but deducted the return shipping cost from my purchase. The initial shipping cost was also not returned to me. This was not a matter of me changing my mind on the purchase, it was a mistake on the seller's part. Now I am out $20 and have nothing to show for it. Why should I have to pay for the seller's mistake!

It sounds like you selected ‘does not fi’t as the reason for return, not ‘not as described’.  Does not fit is considered buyer’s remorse - the assumption being that you purchased the wrong size.  This is an error you can not correct.
