Returned item isn't showing up on eBay's end

I purchased and returned and item recently.   I printed a return label via eBay's site, mailed the package back to the seller a few days ago, checked USPS's website and have confirmed the item was delivered  back to the seller yesterday.  However, the scanned package tracking # never registered on eBays site and eBay is still telling me to send the item back!  How do I prove to eBay that I did send it back and it's been delivered to the seller?
