Hi,
I recently purchased an item and once received I realized that it did not fit the description. A return-for-refund was agreed upon with the seller and so the item was sent back. According to my receipt from my local post office, the item was delivered back to seller; however, eBay does not reflect this information and therefore I have yet to receive my refund. How do I go about getting this resolved? Thanks in advance!

Log into USPS.COM and enter the tracking number for the returned item. Then look for the link to enter your email address to receive updates. Hopefully, that will then eventually show DELIVERED, and once it does, the seller has 2 days to refund you.

Did you upload the return tracking to the dispute, or was it an ebay generated return label?
There has been an issue lately where eBay does not recognize their own return labels & tracking, and buyers have to contact eBay CS to manually add it and update the case status.
Probably easiest to contact eBay CS in social media - they have a good team there and are used to these tracking requests -
Only use the Private DM or PM Messaging - do not post your account info publicly.
Give them your User ID, your real name/address, the email attached to your account, Item #, Case #, and explain the issue in detail.
They usually respond in a day or two.

Hi,
Thanks for the help in this matter! Much appreciated!
The label was generated by eBay, so it fits along the lines of what you’re describing regarding the update. I don’t have social media so it makes it even harder for me to reach out to them. Any other suggestions in terms of communication? I tried reaching out to the seller in hopes of getting a resolution. Thanks again!

The seller won't be able to do anything to fix this from their end.
You can contact eBay CS this way instead of social media -
Scroll down to the bottom of this >> Help page on Status of Return
Click on "Contact us"
In the Help Chat box that opens you may have to click thru a few bot questions until you get a reply box - then type AGENT and press "Send" to bypass the bots
You should get the options to Chat with agent, or have them call you.
