Return request started weeks ago! Nothing yet from ebay.

It's been over three weeks and I get the "hang on" message only, they are working on my request. How long can this go on?

If you filed the Returns Request through ebay, the seller has 3 days to respond.  I don't understand why ebay would tell you to 
"hang on".  Can you go back to the Returns Request and click Ask ebay to step in?

Got an email telling me that they are putting my case on hold until 3/31 to gather more information!
