Not sure if this is the place, but I have a problem with a vendor. I purchased a bottle of cologne and immediately after the purchase I realized it was shipping to my old address, so I immediately contacted the seller and told them to either cancel or reroute. I also filed a cancellation dispute. Later, tracking showed the purchase was still headed to my old address. I contacted the seller again, and he said he had changed it and I should wait til delivery. It was indeed delivered to my old address, 2 hours away, so I missed Christmas for my son. Now I have the item in my possession and have asked for a refund. Ebay says I have an outstanding dispute so I cannot process a return. Any attempt to contact ebay is denied. I have contacted seller also but have gotten NO RESPONSE. help?

What type of dispute did you open (there is no "cancellation" dispute)? Was it an Item Not Received dispute? If so, was that not closed since the item did arrive at the old address?

I am not sure what kind of dispute it was. I know I was frantically trying to cancel the order since I could not get in touch with the seller. Nevertheless, when I try to return the item I get a "we can't process return because you have a dispute pending" or something like that. I am getting no answer from the seller, and I can't get through to ebay because of this. I am stuck unless there is another way to contact ebay.
