Return request closed

After requesting a return, I received an email saying “this return is closed”. What does that mean? Will a return label come in another email?

If the return is closed, there is nothing more you can do.  

In order to help, we would need more information?  What is the item and why do you need to return it?  

Did you open a return request with eBay and what was the reason you stated in the request?

What was the return policy in the listing?  When did you request the return?

Thank you for reaching out. I ordered several items from bullseye deals, two of which were damaged, a lamp and a wooden chair that was cracked. The return window ended December 14 for these items. Unfortunately the items were not opened and discovered damaged until Christmas Day. I requested a return December 27. I received an email the same day stating the return is closed.

ebay's Money Back Guarantee expires 30 days after receipt of the item.  You mentioned that the return window ended on Dec 14.  You should have inspected the items when received, and then you could have filed a returns request before Dec 14.  That is why the return request was closed.
