Return label issue! First Class vs. Priority Mail

The seller says he has no control over the issuing of the return label and I surly believe him.   He shipped this item Priority mail using "1 LB PRIORITY MAIL RATE ZONE 5 NO SURCHARGE."   It weighed over 1 lb.   I'm sending it back as it was sent to me and weighs in over 2 lbs.  When the label was issued for the return it is for "FIRST-CLASS PKG RTN SVC."   Should I just send it with this label that is clearly the wrong class?  And certainly the wrong qualifying weight.

Thank you all for your help...I stand by anxiously as this is a good learning lesson for me as a seller as well.

It's fine - "Return Service" labels are different than what you or I would normally purchase. USPS charges eBay for the correct service & weight as per their contract.

Some post office counter clerks don't know this and may try to tell you it can't be used; sometimes it better to avoid them and drop it in a lobby package bin if it fits.

FIRST-CLASS PKG RTN SVC labels are good for up to 70 pounds.  Just make sure you do not use it on an envelope or box marked Priority.

If I had just read the label a little more closely before hitting the panic button I would have read that "no postage is necessary."  The seller was quite wonderful and had not had this pointed out in the past.  A good learning experience for both AND I thank you 3 eBay community members for the reach-out and guidance.  I followed through with all that you suggested.  Again, thank you!
