Return item

Hi I have a buyer who is returning an item they said didn’t work. I have not received the item and asked the buyer to have the item tracked, but they have not responded. The item says delivered but I don’t have the item. I am due to refund them but the item is still out there somewhere. What do I do???

Did the buyer file the returns request through ebay, you accepted, and they printed out the return shipping label?  If not, how do you know the tracking shows DELIVERED?
