Hello,
I recently shipped an item I bought back to its seller. I sent it back in the original packaging with the shipping label provided by eBay, and per the tracking information, it arrived before the return window closed. However, eBay just notified me that the return was closed because it "didn't receive proof of shipment." I'm unsure how to proceed, as the automated chat function isn't really helping.
Any help would be appreciated.

If the tracking shows delivery, appeal the status by asking customer service to check the tracking. Sometimes the tracking # doesn't stay in the return file.
The easiest way to do this is to post a private message on social media. www.facebook.com/ebay www.twitter.com/ebay

If you don't see 'have us call you' right under the chat link, click chat. Then at the bottom of the chat topics, click more, then click contact an agent.
