Return Tracking Number for USPS Refund for Buyer Not Valid

I just printed off the USPS return shipping label for an item I am returning for a refund, but when I go to enter in the USPS tracking number and click Save, it says the tracking number is NOT valid. How do I fix this?

If it's an eBay issued label in the return case, you don't need to enter it.

It will update in the case with the first scan.
