How can one retract a counteroffer? It has not been accepted yet. I made counteroffer without realizing seller is charging 3 times what it actually costs to ship item. Something eBay should prohibit or limit in my opinion.

Message the seller and ask him to ignore the counteroffer. He still may accept it.
