How can I report stolen property sold on Ebay? What should I do if I have found sold items from an Ebay store that were stolen from me a week before? I've contacted police, but by the time they got involved the seller either hid the rest of my property, gave it to someone else, or never had the rest of my property. Isn't there some policy as to selling stolen goods on Ebay. I've found 2 items that were sold from the same Ebay store from within a week of from when they were stolen about 30 miles from the physical location of the store. I went to the physical location of the store (a pawn shop) and actually purchased back some of my stolen property that were listed on Ebay. Some Pawn shops are so shady.

There is a policy prohibiting the sale of stolen property. Reports of stolen property must come from law enforcement, but you could try using the report seller function. I do not know if that would be any faster.
Use this page - https://www.ebay.com/help/action?topicid=4022 - select violated policy, then select selling stolen property and list the item #(s).
You should also report it to your local police so they can also file a report.
