Relist item gets charged again

Hi, I’m trying to relist an unsold item for the 1st time and eBay is asking me to pay a relist fee again.

Is that according to their policy?

It was my understanding that one can reist 8 times before being charged again.

Thank you

You used a Reserve on the last listing - which is a waste of money - was that intentional?

Reserve price fees are non-refundable and are charged whether or not the item sells, so you owe a fee for that ended listing.

Remove it from the relist before you submit so you won't be charged again, and instead start the price at the lowest you are willing to accept.

Keep in mind that a Buy It Now price is not a reserve either, and in most categories it will disappear with the first bid, or after a certain % is reached.

When you use a reserve, you're charged the fee for using it each time the item is relisted.

With a reserve, you have to pay the fee even if the item doesn't sell.

Forget the reserve and just start the auction at the price you want.

Have a great day.
