Refunds on voided shipping labels

I voided a shipping label that came up on my phone at post office when I needed a QR code. Had to go home and buy another to print. I see no refund on that voided label. Does eBay not automatically refund a label you didn’t use or do they just expect you to call and ask for one?

The refund takes about 3 weeks to come from usps - they want to make sure you did not use the label, since there is no way to reverse a void.

That kind of makes since😂 You are using sarcasm right? They want to make sure the label wasn’t used, since there is no way to reverse a void? It’s voided and if you can’t reverse the void then it would be safe to say it can’t be used. It wasn’t even scanned before I voided it. It was on my phone and I had no printer. I had to go home and use a computer. I couldn’t find that label so I bought another one. When I did come across the multiple labels I just voided the first one. I think in this case since USPS never scanned it it would be eBay to put it back in my funds. If it takes 3 weeks either way I can wait.

No, actually, you can still use the label - if scanned they won't refund.

Some people print labels long in advance, even though you are not supposed to use them after 5 days.

Also in reading other posts on here I wasn’t the only one having issues bringing up a QR code and been given a printable label. I know there was an issue a couple weeks ago where the same thing happened. Except that time the clerk scanned it but it was coming up as a none working code. So I had to go home and do the same but I automatically had the money for the none working one put back in my funds. I use my phone for everything and even signed up with the app. If something goes wrong I have to use someone else’s computer and printer.
