Hi there , I have an issue where a item was damaged upon its arrival . it was a hand blender where the handle was severely broken . I had it wrapped in bubble wrap and in a box .
before refunding the customer I went to check on USPS about starting a refund for myself on it however it says that its not eligible for any further disbursement . I am assuming that the buyer may have already turned it in for their refund . how do i know for sure thats what happened ? I dont want to accuse them of this but since i would be out the item if I refund them it seems like USPS should reimburse for the damage .
Any advice is appreciated or similar issues you ve experienced.
Thanks in advance .

The buyer gets their refund from you .
The sender (you) work with the Post office about insurance.

If it was shipped First Class, it doesn't carry any insurance so there is nothing to claim with USPS.
