Refund with payments on hold.

A seller returned an item. He paid $138. I never receive the payment that was on hold. So when I refund his $ will it come from the payment on hold or from my bank? I don’t want to pay the whole refund from my bank when I haven’t got the payment in the first place. ? Please explain

When you refund the buyer, the refund comes from your funds.  Before you do that, you may want to go here and specify a credit card for paying your seller fees and refunds:

You most likely will have the hold released before the refund goes through using the credit card.
