Refund when using a gift card

So i have to return an item that was not described correctly. Problem is half of the payment I used an ebay gift card. How will I get that part of the money back?

The gift card portion goes back to your ebay account.  When you go to ebay Checkout next time, you should see a line item for the refund that can be used toward the payment.
