Refund declined by eBay…but item not received

I ordered TWO items from a seller.  I did receive a package but it only contained ONE item. I filed a claim and it was denied and closed because the seller could show a package was indeed delivered. Question:  how do I prove I only received one of my items???? Obviously this has become a his word against mine.  Do I just give up and let the jerk keep my money??

Did you open a case for item not as described?  Then you would show that you received one item, not both.  If you open a case item not received, tracking shows delivered, so seller wins.

If you paid through Paypal open the correct case there Item not as described.
