Refund Confusion

I am completely confused as to how I handle refunds knowing that ebay has a reimbursement policy.  If I issue a refund that qualifies, how do I get my money back from ebay? Thank you.

You don’t get any money back from eBay - the money back guarantee say you the seller will refund, not that eBay will refund.  When you handle the refund yourself, eBay will reverse their fees. If they have to step in , your fees are not refunded.
