Why is eBay's shipping policy so stringent that I can't redirect my FedEx package to a "hold at" facility? I have done this with other FedEx packages on non-eBay shipments. They require proper ID when pickup and sign for the package. As a result, FedEx will not even leave door tags for the packages. I had to wait for three delivery exceptions (all occurring at noon while I was at work) before FedEx would consider a delivery time window. Now, I wait wondering if they would follow instructions. The problem that I see if that it is a Catch 22 that eBay has created by not allowing the actual shipper to deviate from their policy and doesn't allow the recipient to control the delivery. This has been extremely frustrating because eBay has hogtied the shipper and the seller at the expense of the buyer. The seller on the other had has tried as much as they could to remedy the problem but ran into the same roadblocks as I.

Sellers are required to ship to the address on your payment. If you want the item shipped to a different address, then you can change it during checkout.
